Available in only the Limited trim is a Hybrid that comes with a 3.3-liter V-6 engine which integrates a 33-kilowatt electric motor and produces 318 horsepower and 322 pound-feet of torque. All trims come with either AWD or rear-wheel drive.

The 2021 Chevy Traverse comes with a 3.6-liter V-6 engine that produces 310 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque. The 9-speed transmission drives the front or all four wheels in the optional AWD.


Fuel Economy

Fuel economy for the Ford Explorer is a strength, the rear-wheel drive boasts 24 mpg for combined driving, while the AWD sits at 23 mpg. The Hybrid offers 27 mpg for the rear-wheel drive and 25 mpg for the AWD.
