Trim Levels (Exterior)
The 2021 Ford Mustang has made a couple of changes to its trim level lineup. You can get your new Mustang in one of seven primary trim levels: the EcoBoost, EcoBoost Premium, GT, GT Premium, Mach 1, Mach 1 Premium, and Shelby GT500. The EcoBoost, EcoBoost Premium, and GT Premium are all available as either fastback or convertible models.
When you shop for your next Mustang, you'll have the option between 18 wheel styles. The all-new Mach 1 adds aerodynamic-boosting accents to the Mustang's exterior as well as hood and side stripes. Add the EcoBoost Handling Package to get wider wheels and a larger rear spoiler. From the Mach 1's four-tip active exhaust system to the EcoBoost's blacked-out front grille, the Mustang is full of eye-catching details.
Engine (Power)
This year's five-engine lineup makes sure there's a Mustang for every driver and budget. The starting engine is a 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder that punches 310 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. With the High-Performance package, this engine's output increases to 332 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. Under the GT's hood, you'll find a 5.0-liter V-8 engine that delivers 460 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque. The Mach 1 boasts a more powerful version of this engine that produces 480 horsepower. The Shelby GT500's 5.2-liter supercharged V-8 offers 760 horsepower and 625 pound-feet of torque.
These engines are paired with either one of two six-speed manuals, a 10-speed automatic, or a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
