Ford F-150 Interior Review
Boone and Morganton drivers know the Ford F-150 for its incredible muscle. However, when it comes to the cabin, many want to learn more. Just how comfy and connected is this full-size truck, and how much can you do with all that space inside?
You can see for yourself in this Ford F-150 interior review. We at Cloninger Ford Morganton are here to help Newland and Lenoir shoppers learn about technology, comforts, and the cab sizes available. Learn what this truck can add to your daily drives!
Ford F-150 Cab Styles
Your experience inside the Ford F-150 will depend on the cab configuration you choose. There are three cab sizes, and each offers a different setup for drivers.
The Regular Cab seats up to three people across a single row of seats. This 2-door model is ideal if you want a more personal truck.
The SuperCab adds a second row and seats up to six people. It has four doors, though the rear doors are reverse-hinged—in other words, you’ll need to open the front doors to open the rear ones. This cab has 33.5 inches of legroom in the rear.
Do you plan on using the back seat often? If so, you’ll want to consider the SuperCrew. This 4-door cab seats up to six people and has independently hinged rear doors. Rear legroom comes to 43.6 inches, so backseat riders will find room to stretch out.
Flexible F-150 Interior
There’s plenty of room for your larger cargo in the truck bed, no matter which length you choose. You’ll find space in the cabin, too, when you need it for extra storage. SuperCab and SuperCrew models offer a fully flat load floor and under-seat storage.
Fold the rear-seat bottoms up, and you can easily slide some extra gear in the back. There’s room for the cooler and other outdoor gear or work supplies for your next big project. The flat load floor makes for easier loading and unloading when you arrive.
The available flow-through center console is quite spacious, too. In fact, it can hold a tablet or laptop for the journey ahead! Door panel bins and a glove compartment add to the storage space.
Top Truck Technology
These days, vehicles like the Ford F-150 are much more than bare-bones work trucks. You can equip this truck with the latest in connectivity features. SYNC® 3 infotainment is available, complete with an 8-inch touchscreen and Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™. Stay connected to your smartphone on the go!
That wide touchscreen will come in handy should you equip the F-150 with the 360-Degree Camera with Split-View Display. At slow speeds, you’ll have a bird’s-eye view of your truck and what’s happening around it. You can navigate tight spaces a bit more easily.
Then, of course, there’s the productivity screen in the instrument panel. This 8-inch screen puts helpful information right in front of you, from fuel economy to towing data.
