Start Her Up

When you want to start up your Mustang, the standard Intelligent Access with push-button start quickens the pace. With key fob in hand, pocket, or anywhere in the vehicle, just push the button and hear the engine roar with life. No digging for keys in your bottomless bag or wondering if they fell into a tight spot. If the key fob rests somewhere in the car, you’re going!

From your steering wheel, easily access your available 12-inch LCD digital cluster from the mounted controls. The cluster shows your different virtual gauges, including Exhaust modes, the available Track Apps®, launch control, and much more. Choose which screen to display by pressing down on the Pony button in the center of your steering wheel. For some technicolor excitement, select three separate hues to highlight your gauges using the available Ambient Lighting package with MyColor®.

Tame Your Mustang

Unlike the high-strung animal, your Mustang can be tamed by you with nothing but the advanced systems in your vehicle. Steer your car with ease and deft control when you use Selectable-effort electric power-assisted steering. Three separate settings manage your steering according to what you need at that time. Select Comfort, Normal, or Sport to manage and take hold of the road when hairpin turns, or rough corners turn your drive into a carnival ride.

Some weather or road conditions may present challenges that involve more than steering prowess. To handle your car during storms or uneven terrain, let the available Selectable Drive Modes give you mastery over the roads. Flip the toggle switch on the center stack in the front seat to Normal, Snow/Wet, Sport, Track, or Drag Strip to take on the challenges that make you feel like you’re in a cinematic high-speed chase.

Chart Performance

Challenge yourself whenever you take your Mustang out for a spin. You don’t have to guess at how your car performs on the road—chart your average speed and times with the Lap Timer through the available Track Apps®. It holds up to 100 sessions in Track Mode, so you can prove to your friends that yes, you exceeded your typical speed with solid virtual proof.

In Launch Mode, the Acceleration Timer shows how fast you speed up when taking a lap around the block or on the track. Once the “Christmas Tree” display lights up to full capacity on your screen, only scorch marks remain on the asphalt.
