Layout

The refreshed Edge embodies the very spirit of American craftsmanship. Its grille, hood, and body have been redesigned to look sleeker without losing their ruggedness. The Edge’s exterior is highlighted by an assertive new beltline and finished with chrome accents.

And that’s only what you can see from the curb. Inside the cabin, the Edge packs a modernized instrumental panel and center stack, punctuated by a new rotary e-shifter. The door trim and floor consoles have been updated, too.

Passengers won’t be disappointed, either. The Edge houses available leather-trimmed sport bucket seats and up to 73.4 cu. ft. of cargo space for your fellow commuters and all their things.

Capability

The 2019 model year marks the dawn of a new era for the Edge: the ST. This performance trim holds a 2.7L EcoBoost® V6 engine that makes 335 horsepower and 380 lb.-ft. of torque. Its intelligent AWD system means that it handles like a sports car in a variety of different road conditions.

As impressive as the ST is, the Edge’s base powertrain is nothing to write off. The 2019 Ford Edge SE boasts a 245-horsepower Twin-Scroll 2.0L EcoBoost® engine that posts 22 mpg in fuel economy in the city and 29 mpg on the highway.
